Licking

I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not.  Ever since I can remember Isaac has been licking everything he can get his tongue on.  So either he'll end up getting sick or having the best immune system ever.  My mom was saying her window's needed to be cleaned, so Isaac got up and started licking them.  It was really gross but funny.

Hogle Zoo

We took the kids to a place called Hollywood Connection on saturday.  I think they really enjoyed it.  They rode a bunch of rides, and we played mini golf.  We had a hard time getting them to leave.  Later on we went to hogle zoo and seen the christmas lights.  Isaac thought he was pretty cool wearing his 3D glasses.  The glasses made all the lights look like little snowmen.  It was cold but fun.

Thanksgiving Point

Derek had a weekend off so we decided to take advantage of it and takes the kids out.  Friday night we took them to Thanksgiving Point.  First we went and seen some of Santa's reindeer(comet, and blitzen).  The kids thought this was so cool that Santa had let these people borrow his reindeer.  They had a bunch of lights set up so you could just drive through them, that was nice so we didn't have to go out into the cold.

Diorama

Baylee was supposed to make a diorama of a coniferous forest for school.  It was a family project.  I was way scared to do it, I must be way to old because I don't even remember doing a diorama in school.  I wasn't ever sure what a diorama was when she first got the assignment.  But when we got started we had alot of fun making it.  Here is our finished project.  I think it turned out pretty good.

Moose

Well I haven't had much to write about, our lives have slowed done tons.  But the kids found this really cool, so I thought I would add it.  We had a moose running around our neighborhood today.  We got in the car and drove right up to it.  The kids got to see it up close and we got some pictures.  Plus call me strange but I love to sit and watch them I think there such cool looking animals.  So that was our excitement for now.

Trick or Treat

Halloween is a great holiday around our house. This would be Derek's favorite holiday, and he is 27 years old.  Our kids will never have to worry about getting enough candy, the only thing they need to worry about is having good running shoes.  Baylee and Carson get about 1/2 a bag, then there good to go home.  This year was the first year Isaac really knew what was going on.  We couldn't get him to go home.  He stayed out a half hour longer then his older brother and sister.  Plus he was so cute working the people over, most of them gave him double the candy.  He ended up with a bag and a half of candy.  I'm just glad Derek has finally got someone to trick or treat with him all night.  (In the pic Isaac looks like a cat, but it actually was a really cute skunk costume).

soccer

Well I decided I needed to be more involved in the kids activities.  So I took on the job as soccer registrar, which was alot more work then I ever expected.  We didn't have enough coaches so guess what I did, I volunteered my services as Carson's coach.  It was fun and I learned alot about soccer (because I knew nothing before I started).  Baylee I think liked it a little bit, but  she was really excited for it to be over.  Carson absoultely loved it.  I think I've got the next soccer star on my hands.  Well now all I have to do is the soccer party to give them their trophies.  Then I'm done with soccer until May.

Tanner

I haven't had much time to add to my blog.  We've had a devastating tragedy in our family.  My baby brother Tanner died on Sept. 28, 2008.  It has been a huge shock, and something you have to learn to deal with day by day.  We will miss his huge smile and those big black eyes.  There will be a huge whole in our hearts, but we need to remember the good times we got to share with him.  I'm so glad my kids were able to know their uncle.  I hope he's eating as much ice cream as he possible can.   We love you Tanner.

California/Lake Tahoe

This was our last event of the summer.  We went to Derek's family reunion in California and Lake Tahoe.  It was really fun, we're really glad we decided to go.  Isaac's just happy being outside.  Here we also have Scuba Steve, he thought he was the best snorkeler around.  My princess Baylee and her pouty face.  We also went to the boardwalk and rode the rides.  They all had a blast, there's no pic of Baylee, because she thinks she's so old.  She was off riding the BIG rides.

Fishing

We went fishing all the kids caught a fish.  I didn't get a pic fast enough of Isaac's fish.  This was Baylee's first fish ever.  She was pretty proud of herself.  As you can see Derek didn't catch one, that's why Carson likes to call his dad a no fishing sissy.  This isn't the first time Carson caught a fish and Derek didn't.  It's a little bit of a sensitive subject around our house.

Lagoon

Baylee had a dance competition at Lagoon this year, so we all went and had some fun on the rides.  This was Baylee's first time on the rocket(I think she was a little scared).  After she rode it once we couldn't get her away from it.  Here are the boys in the scariest pic ever.  The thought of them behind the wheel scares me to death.  The only ride they hated was Rattle Snake Rapids.  They had a great time, and ask to go back all the time.

Grandma's

Here's a few pics from grandma Lynne's.  The happiest place on earth for the kids.  Grandma had just bought them a big water slide and a pool.  Thanks grandma Lynne, we love you.

Bear Lake 2008

We had alot of fun this summer.  This is the first summer we were never bored.  Here are some pics from Bear Lake.  I'm pretty sure Isaac thinks he's a bathing beauty.  He laid like this in the water at least 80% of the time.  My kids are like little fish, they would spend all day in the water if we let them.

The first blog

Well this is my first attempt at blogging, so be very patient with me.  I was looking at Krishel's blog, and some of my cousins blogs.  Man I haven't seen some of them forever.  I didn't even know some of them had kids.  It's than that I realized the importance of a blog(but mainly for the sanity of my mother, she can't get enough of her grandchildren).  I seem to have a very busy life right now so I will try really hard to get pictures up.

Derek

This is Derek and Pint Size at Baylee's baptism.  This is one of the only pictures I can find of him, he doesn't let me take his picture very often.  This is one of my favorite pictures of all time.  Derek has the biggest heart, he is always helping people.  He always go way out of the way, when someone is in need.  This is where my kids get their caring personalities from.  My kids and I are so lucky to have him in our lives.

Zach-Zach

Well here's Isaac(a.k.a.  zach-zach, black eyes, dimples, trouble).  He just turned the big 2.  I don't know if each kid gets busier or if I'm getting to old.  This picture was taken a half hour after we got to lake tahoe, and that's what he looked like the rest of the weekend.  I could put him in a white room and he still would find someway to get dirty.  Oh but I've had so much fun with him.  He's so tiny and cuddly.  He's got the blackest eyes and the deepest dimples, it's really hard to get mad at him.

Pint Size

Well this is Carson (otherwise known as Pint Size).  This picture pretty much describes him.  He's full of it 90% of the day.  He thinks he's some sort of supermodel, always posing when the camera comes out.  Just wait until he gets older, his girlfriends are going to love his photo album.  He's 4 and the middle child. Sometimes I think that's why he needs so much attention.  He's going to preschool, maybe next year if he's lucky I will let him go to kindergarten.  Behind all of that trouble, he's my little boy who will always give his mom hugs and kisses.  And beat up his dad.  He loves cuddling with his blanket, with a nice cold cup of chocolate milk.

Princess Baylee

This is princess Baylee she is 8 years old(but has a birthday coming up really soon).  She is the only girl, don't feel to bad for her the other day she told me she loves being the only girl.  She is in the 3rd grade and loving it.  She has a big heart, and is always wanting to help people who need help.  She has a very quiet mischievous side to her to.
